We desperately need more education around sexuality, birthing children and building strong families. If anything, the quagmire of controversy surrounding the issue of abortion highlights how both sides have pertinent points and unlooked at blindspots. It seems like EVERY issue these days is arresting us to that blatant fact that truth is going to take some radical teamwork.
I loathe the religious sermonizing around abortion and how life begins at conception. Do we really know? And clearly if a woman has been raped or brought to conceive in some way against her consent, abortion should be her right END OF STORY.
On the other hand, has abortion though been abused as a convenient form of birth control? Surely it has and that also speaks to the fact that birth control is far too often the honous of women.
MEN should practice way more ejaculation control. The health benefits of semen retention are profound anyhow. Study Karezza as well, an old-school yet still novel form of sacred sexuality, pioneered by Alice B. Stockholm, one of the first female American doctors who brought it forth initially to help men take a role in birth control and later found immense sexual healing value for couples in general. Birth control should be the responsibility of WOMEN AND MEN.
Ultimately, I observe an extreme on both sides based on simply the mob-lust for conflict with the opposing viewpoint that the media is provoking with all the powers at their disposal. And in so doing, our collective rational thinking is bludgeoned in the tumult of intensely elicited emotionality.
And to be sure, the media is doing EVERYTHING in their power to polarize both sides with sensationalistic journalism to get people possessed by their emotions (particularly rage) and then make them far more easier to manipulate and distract away from other pertinent issues.
The media are fucking dark wizards at this and it’s sad to see them just continually to massacre our clear thinking time after time with manipulative news coverage. They’ve placed very triggering levers in us all through their distorted programming for eons and then just push and pull them as they like, haplessly flinging us about. We have to get a grip. The media are agents of chaos. They are trying to get us to war with each other. It’s really what makes ratings in our toxic culture.
I long for wise fucking leaders and some kind of sagacious council on principles where we can all just find a better commons of universal truth. Civil society should be much more free, playful, dynamic and inclusive to honour ALL of our dispositions while also offering loads of beneficial guidance that honours our individuality first, rather than the bullshit authoritarianism we’ve had to endure for millennia.
There’s also a ghastly and glaring hypocrisy when we find ourselves trumpeting freedom of choice for women and their bodies and yet we just had to endure YEARS of the most duplicitous manipulative and abusive bullying to get injected with highly experimental vaccines, steamrolling that same ability to choose what is right for our bodies. That insanity needs to be acknowledged if we have any hope to salvage clarity of thought.
This issue, like many is, complex, much more than the media with its polarizing idiocracy would have us believe. And abortion should not be ILLEGAL ANYWHERE and it can still be held in a dynamic way where both sides are heard, acknowledged and integrated. We can do that. REALLY. We can integrate left and right. We can find the harmony between them. Believe it. We are that genius and radically loving and marvelous. It’s the only way. Always has been. Always will be if we have any hope in this crazy civilized world.
